19 bundled plugins

Nineteen plugins, already installed.

Presscomet can’t run PHP plugins — so it ships replacements for the ones nearly every WordPress site uses: SEO, forms, SMTP, caching, security, backups and more. Same WordPress admin screens, settings imported when you migrate, nothing to keep updating.
  • 01

    Already installed

Every Presscomet site has all 19. Switch them on and off under Plugins, as you would in WordPress — there’s nothing to download.

  • 02

    Updated with the site

They’re part of the application, so they update together with it. No plugin update queue, no version conflicts between plugins.

  • 03

    Settings come with you

Each plugin knows which WordPress plugins it replaces. The migration switches it on and imports the old plugin’s settings.

Directory

Every bundled plugin.

Search by what you use today — try “Yoast”, “Contact Form 7” or “cache”. Each card opens a page with the comparison, what migrates and what doesn’t.

What the bundled plugins don’t do.

Better to know before you move than after.

  • No PHP plugins. Anything outside these 19 — page builders, membership, LMS, booking — doesn’t come across unless it’s rebuilt as a TypeScript plugin.
  • No e-commerce. WooCommerce and other shop plugins aren’t supported.
  • Core features, not premium tiers. Firewalls, malware scanning, remote backup storage, conditional form logic and similar extras aren’t included. Each plugin page lists the gaps.
  • Some settings can’t move. Data kept in a plugin’s own database tables or config files, and encrypted passwords, are listed per plugin.

Plugins: questions

Can I install other WordPress plugins on Presscomet?

No. Presscomet doesn’t run PHP, so WordPress plugins from the plugin directory can’t be installed. The 19 bundled plugins cover the most common jobs, and developers can write new plugins in TypeScript.

What happens to my plugins when I migrate?

The migration checks every active plugin on your site. When a bundled plugin replaces it, that plugin is switched on and the old settings are imported. Anything without a replacement is listed in the report so you know before you switch.

Is WooCommerce supported?

No. Presscomet is for content sites — blogs, magazines, business and documentation sites. Online shops built on WooCommerce aren’t a fit yet.

Are the bundled plugins free?

Yes. They are part of Presscomet, which is free and open source. Managed hosting is optional.

Do the bundled plugins have every feature of the originals?

No. They cover the core job of each plugin, and each plugin’s page lists what isn’t included — premium add-ons, firewalls, remote backup storage and so on — so you can decide before you move.

Keep WordPress.
Lose the PHP.

Check your site from the browser, then move it with the wizard. Free, open source, and your live site is never touched.
