A container per site
Every site runs in its own Docker container with its own data volume. A busy or broken neighbour can’t touch your database.
Managed updates
We roll new releases out to your site. Your data volume stays put while the container is replaced, and a backup is taken first.
Daily backups
An automatic snapshot of your SQLite database and uploads every day, kept for your plan’s retention. Take one any time, download it, or restore with one click.
Free HTTPS
Certificates for your subdomain and verified custom domains are issued and renewed automatically by Caddy with Let’s Encrypt.
Free WordPress migration
Create a site with “Migrate from WordPress” and the importer brings over content, users, media, menus, settings and your theme’s look. Agency plans can hand it to us.
One-click wp-admin

How migration works.
Migration is free on every plan and you do it yourself in a few clicks. Your WordPress site keeps running until you point your domain at the new one.
On Agency, we do it for you.
Send us the list of sites and our team runs the migrations for you. You review each one before switching DNS.
Create a site
Sign up, then create a site in the console. It gets its own container and a subdomain straight away.
Choose “Migrate from WordPress”
Pick the migration option when you create the site instead of starting empty.
The importer wizard pulls everything across
Point it at your WordPress site. Content, users, media, menus, settings and your theme’s look come over; your old site is only read, never changed.
Preview it on your subdomain
Click through the new site on yoursite.presscomet.com next to the old one, and open its wp-admin from the console with one click.
Add your domain
Add your domain in the console, point a CNAME at your site and verify the DNS. HTTPS is issued automatically once it resolves.
How billing works.

- Pick a plan and start using it. No card is needed to sign up.
- Then an invoice
- When the trial ends we invoice you for the plan you chose, monthly or yearly. Self-serve card payments are coming soon.
- Cancel any time
- Tell us before the trial ends and you pay nothing. After that, email [email protected] whenever you like and you won’t be invoiced for the next period.
- Your data leaves with you
- Download a backup or a static export before you go. A backup is a SQLite file plus your uploads, which open-source Presscomet runs on your own server.

Agencies, assisted migrations, more than 15 sites, or a question the page doesn’t answer: tell us what you’re running and we’ll reply by email.

Where do sites run?
Each site runs in its own Docker container with its own data volume, on our servers in a single region. There is no global edge CDN yet; pages are served from the built-in page cache in that region. Edge caching across regions is on the roadmap.
How do backups work?
Every site gets an automatic daily snapshot of its SQLite database and uploads, kept for your plan’s retention (14, 30 or 60 days). You can also take a backup on demand, download it, or restore one with a click from the console.
Can I leave and take my site with me?
Yes. Download a backup (the database file plus uploads) or a static export of the whole site from the console at any time. Presscomet is open source, so a backup runs on your own server too, and you can export a standard WXR file for regular WordPress.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Add the domain in the console, point a CNAME at your site and verify it. Once it resolves, a Let’s Encrypt certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Included: Starter 1 custom domain, Pro 10 custom domains, Agency unlimited custom domains.
What happens when the trial ends?
You get 14 days on the plan you picked, without entering a card. After that we invoice you for that plan, monthly or yearly. If you don’t want to continue, tell us before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. Self-serve card payments are coming.
Will my WordPress plugins run?
PHP plugins and themes don’t run, here or anywhere else on Presscomet. The importer maps common plugins to the 19 bundled ones (SEO, forms, redirects, custom fields, security and more) and captures your theme’s look. E-commerce (WooCommerce) isn’t supported.
Is there an uptime guarantee?
Not yet. Every container has a health check and restarts automatically if the process exits, but we don’t publish an uptime SLA.
